January 9th

“You're always with yourself, so you might as well enjoy the company.”
― Diane Von Furstenberg

Today I didn't wake up with a lot of positivity going on.  I had a rough night and felt crap, which didn't help and I've been lost in my mind for the last couple of days; which is never a good thing.

I went to help out at the yard today, didn't feel up to it, and told 'Dah Boss' that I wouldn't make it in, she told me to just come and lead for the lesson and that it would do me the world of good, of course she was right and even though I have a bit of a burny chest (yep virus still going strong) I do feel better for getting out of the house.

We have been having a bit of a move around in the house now that Eveigh has gone and Grace has been promoted to the bigger bedroom which means, yay I get a craft room.  It has all been decorated now by my gorgeous husband and short of a few finishing touches it is prettu much finished.  I will do a 'tour' when I have got it to pretty much how I want it, I think we did quite well seeing as we have no money and the shelves etc.. were mainly parts of an old wardrobe.

This year I am really wanting to concentrate on my shop so I will be using my room as more of a work place, going in in the morning and coming out for lunch and so on and so forth.  Is this how other homeworkers work?

I have music in there and my new record player will be moving up there soon. So then all I have will be me and my imagination.

So to keep me on the straight and narrow I have used a print from a beauty subscription box that I get, I'll blog about it another day, which was in collaboration with Diane von Furstenburg, and I think will have to work toward my mantra for the year.

The only problem was I had to cut it to fit it in the frame and when I had I realised there were bolts of fabric on the floor, so I sneaked it back in.  But look at the cute little Wonder Woman on the desk.

Maybe this year I will be the 'Woman I Want To Be'

What are you working towards this year?
