Empties

So, I'm not so good at monthly favourites, I don't think I change things enough to have new favourites each month, so I thought I would save up some empties and just chat about whether I like them or not.

The first bunch of products looks like it could have all come from a L'Oreal counter.

I know the Age Perfect Refreshing Toner and Cleansing Milk works on my skin, so I have been using them for a few months, in fact since I started my whole getting my face and body to look like it's being cared for after all the years of neglect, and it has really helped and fed my skin.  I may change it up later just to keep my skin on its toes, I'm not sure whether it should be something that I am supposed to do, or do I keep on with what I know works.
Over the colder months my skin really dried up and looked dull so I decided to buy myself some heavy duty night creams, hence the Revitalift 10.  Once I started using this my skin really responded, soaked it all up.  After a while it started to make my skin quite sensitive, so I changed my cream over to the Collagen cream, this was heavy enough and it did plump my skin out.  After the chopping and changing of creams I guess it was all a bit too strong so I have now changed again to something softer.
Also an empty bottle of the L'Oreal Elvive Nutri-Gloss Light, which I have discussed before, now that my hair is really short though I can used a slightly heavier shampoo.  I will update when I have finished the bottle.

These items are pretty much all samples.  Caudelie SOS Thirst Quenching Serum, this was in a beauty box at some point and I was really happy I had it over the cold months.  I've never really thought much about 'higher end' cosmetics, (to me Caudelie is high end, I'm a skin flint!) but this really did work, shame I don't have the money to spend on 'frivilous' little luxuries.  Nip and Fab day cream, this came with a bag I wanted from Sainsbury's at Christmas, now the bag gathers dust as it isn't too practical, but the day cream is perfect. There is a slight problem, the product as a sample is just called 'Day Cream' but when I have looked in the shop there are several different day creams.  I never think about it until we are in the shop; by which time I haven't written any details or ingredients to check which is the correct day cream.
I don't really need to say anything about the St Ives Apricot Scrub, I remember using this when I was around 14 or 15, quite a few years now.
Also, being a skin flint, I tend not to buy perfumes, so I do have A LOT of perfume samples, or those miniature bottles you can buy.  From these samples that have been used up I absolutely love Givenchy, Very Irresistible and Lady Gaga, Fame.  I have now started a beauty wish list for birthday's and such like and these have been added to it.

How many empties have you got through lately, and will you be re buying?
