The Angel of the Lord came down…

Howdy Doody

Not too much to report.  Now I’ve said that I know that I will probably start rambling on like nobodies business.

Firstly, I must explain the title.  It was Grace’s Nativity play today, even though my thoughts differ from those of Christians I do like to see a nativity play.  Grace was playing the Angel Gabriel and as such had to sing a verse solo.  I’m not sure who was more nervous, her or me!  Mark heard her sing this morning as they try to break the parents into two halves to watch the play as it is such a small school the hall isn’t too big.  Mark said that she didn’t sing loud enough so this afternoon we had a bit of a practise and when I watched her this evening she sang loud and proud for everyone to hear!  I had tears, yes I confess I cried. The photo isn’t too good as it was on my phone and I had to crop it so that other children aren’t in it.

My brave girl, maybe she will have the theatrical prowess I always wanted.

I have been keeping up with the Instagramming of the days of Christmas, here are the next few.

There were more than I thought, I shouldn’t leave it so long next time.
