So it’s a chance to catch up.

I really do seem to fail at this daily blogging lark, but a lot of things do go on.  The thing is half the time I can’t for the life of me figure out what it is.

I have been trying to get myself more organised and actually have a plan to the day, a proper to do list and everything.  The thing is it does take a long time to get this organised, well I guess it does in the long run, but once you are organised I suppose you will gain time.

My MRI was uneventful, in that I wasn’t kept behind!! But I don’t know if that is a good thing, I won’t know for sure whether there could be anything wrong until I go to see my doctor in a couple of weeks.  I know I do have one appointment with him tomorrow morning but I can’t for the life of me remember why.

Here are a few photos from the Beltane/May Day Celebration we went to last Monday, gosh that really seems like a long time ago now!!!

Grace having a go on her first ever Maypole, complete with May Day Crown.

Eveigh feeling happy with herself for making Brighids cross and can you see the delicate May Day Crown she is wearing? She made it herself with the rushes they supplied but she wouldn’t put in any ivy, or hawthorn or any other adornment.

Grace looking tired after a hard day celebrating, looking resplendent in her Crown.

Grace’s stash from the day, a moneybox she coloured in, two wooden whistles, a little pouch which had celtic coins in that you could spend, she kept one of the coins, her own Brighid’;s cross, a little clay pot she made and her pine cone musical instrument.

My own things from the day, same made things as Grace apart from the pot, I also got a little leather pouch/bag, little pewter druid, another leather bracelet to go with the green one I got last year and my Mum bought me a love spoon, which is now hanging in my kitchen.

These next two pictures are how Grace started the day, she said she wanted to look summery and pretty so this is what we came up with.

and how she wanted her hair..

These are a couple of things that came in the post for me, my first ever ATC swap from Swab-Bot and a prize I won on FaceBook, which is actually one of these Washbag so I will be working on that at some point.

Another swap from Swap-Bot, this time one I am sending out.  A two page letter and I have also included a little Mandala colouring book and some little feel good cards complete with little envelope.

This is what I am using out my ‘post’ tray which sits on the top of my printer at the moment, everything that is for swaps and such like gets put in here when it is done and then when they need posting I can just pick them up and send them out.

I really do apologise that my posts seem to mainly be photo posts, but it seems to be the easiest way to remember things.

I have gone through some of the bags that I got from the house clearance a couple of weeks ago and I have salvaged for myself a couple of suitcases of stuff, the charity shop will be getting some stuff and a few pieces did have to go to the bin I am afraid.

There are still about 3 sacks full of fabric to go through, a lot of the things in there now are tablecloths and antimacassars, a lot of embroidered things, which I shall be able to use hopefully.

Still 4 boxes of books to sort through but my Mum managed to take some today as a lot of them were about the places she grew up in, so they have taken her down memory lane.

I have even managed, with the help of Amy and the tutorial she pointed me to here, to make myself a ‘button’ that people, if they were so inclined, could put on their blogs to share the love!!

Well at the moment I can’t really think of any else to write about at the moment, if there is anything you want to ask me then please feel free. xxx
